i have bought me hp dv8 1220eg and its a realy good notebook i can play most of the newest games my battery life is 4 hours that isnt so bad at al i realy like this one i just want to upgrade my graphic card in this laptop so i can play all games on high graphics

@ScouttheDoggieFan lol yeah.. i only have the hp pavilion dv7 ive got almost all the GTA series starting from 3-4 (including vice city and san andreas) and bully scholarship edition and it still runs great… hella fast

are there any stores like best buy or walmart that cary this Dv8T QUAD edition, I can only find them with quad at the HP website and they are still averaging at leats 1500$, where can i egt this with the core I7 and the 230M video cxard, I could care elss about the blu ray
i was looking at this laptop at best buy
and it gets virus easily and i was about to get this laptop so i mostly instead of buying it i went to staples and i got a better deal and i got a better laptop
and i had a best buy laptop before and got the most crazy and it was more money out of all of them plus i got a lot of virus on it and it sucked but the gaming on it was great and hey if u wont to buy a laptop from best buy u can but im just saying it will not work as good as they say it will.

@musicaddicted3000 They convinced me, I had no clue about PC parts and I was like 15 and they told me that I wanted this one and I told them no and they said this was better which in reality it was not. So I go to return it and I look and it was a 5 day cash back.

After having a 17 inch DELL Vostro 2700 for 3 years , I got my HP DV8, the version selling in Italy does not have the TV card, DELL has a much better quality plastic and feel.
I don’t like the estetical aspect, the silver rim is out of fashion 20 years now.
The keyboard doesn’t have a good touch, the rest is excellent.
I needed a big screen for my job, unfortunately the glossy screen is not the best solution.
Fucking best buy told me that my HP Pavillion dv7 1245dx was better. Dumb pricks. Who says a dual core is better then a quad core? Now I am stuck with this expensive piece of shit for about a year now.
